Portrait of a Kazakh Eagle Hunter in Mongolia
Eagle hunting is an ancient tradition of the Kazakh people living in the ouest Altai region of Mongolia. Each hunter has a deep bond with his eagle and together, after training during harsh winter months, they hunt for prey like foxes when the good season turns. I had the chance to capture the beauty of this deep connexion between one hunter and his royal eagle in the Mongolian steppes
The available print sizes fit standard frame dimensions, but this means a slight crop of the original image. If you’d like a different format, feel free to get in touch through the contact form, I can arrange a custom print just for you!
