Mongolian Nomadic Shepherdess

In the Mongolian steppes, many nomadic families live by moving with their herds as the seasons change. I had the opportunity to meet some of them in different places, and this woman was truky unique. She was checking on her animals down in the valley, using her old pair of binoculars in a very special way.

The available print sizes fit standard frame dimensions, but this means a slight crop of the original image. If you’d like a different format, feel free to get in touch through the contact form, I can arrange a custom print just for you!
