Northern lights always have a mesmerizing effect on me. But around the equinox, they can become so strong and spread all over the sky that I can hardly focus on my camera. This evening along the Kalix River was one of those fantastic evenings I'll remember for a long time. A strong Aurora moving above me, a small boat in the foreground, the green reflection on the river, and between the sky and the water, the thin layer of mist bringing a mysterious atmosphere to the scene.
The available print sizes fit standard frame dimensions, but this means a slight crop of the original image. If you’d like a different format, feel free to get in touch through the contact form, I can arrange a custom print just for you!

Our prints are made on demand by local partners, close to your location. This helps us avoid stock limitations and reduce the environmental impact of shipping from Sweden.
